Goosefoot vegetable


  • 1/2 kg curd
  • 1/2 bowl of goosefoot
  • 1/4 spoon of besan
  • Salt according to taste
  • 1/4 spoon of fenugreek
  • Red chili powder according to taste
  • 1/2 spoon of turmeric powder


  • Take curd in a bowl.
  • Add besan and water.
  • Add all spices.
  • Mix it well.
  • Take a pan.
  • Add oil to it.
  • Add goosefoot.
  • Now add the curd mixture to it.
  • Stir it well.
  • Cook it for 15-20 minutes
Now to make pakoras of this vegetable the steps are:
  • Take 2 spoons of besan in a bowl.
  • Add salt and water to it.
  • Mix it well and make a paste.
  • Now in a pan heat the oil.
  • Add the besan mixture to oil with the help of a spoon (one spoon at a time).
  • You will get around 6-7 pakoras for your vegetable.

The healthy and very beneficial goosefoot kadhi (Bathue ki kadhi) is ready. It is very beneficial in winters. It gives a lot of benefits as goosefoot itself is very beneficial.
