Little Millet

During these days Navrataras is going on and these days are the fasting days, we want to eat something healthy and nutritious. We want to eat things that will provide more energy. We do not want to feel weak. But we are confused about what should we eat. We do not want to get fatty by eating oily things during fast.

Everybody used to eat different things like Sabudana, fruits, chips, etc.but all these things increase weight. There is a little millet which is generally used during fasting and provides lots of energy and also helps in weight loss.

Benefits of little millet are:

  • It is very nutritious.
  • It is full of fiber which helps in weight loss.
  • It detoxifies the body.
  • It prevents unwanted cravings.
  • It is having very fewer calories.

  • It is a perfect meal that is rich in minerals, vitamins.

 You can make so many dishes from little millet. Some of them are:

  • Idli
  • Cheela
  • Rice
  • Kheer
  • Kachori
  • Upma
  • Dosa
