Salute to our Indian Army

Ae Bharat ke Sainani
Kya kamal kiya hein tumne
Nahi kisi chamatkar se kam
Kya kamal kiya hein tumne
Kargil ka anokha yudh kiya
Nai ki tumne jaan ki parwah bhi
Lakho ne apni jaan gawai
Phir bi nai ruke tumhare kadam
Matrbhumi ke liye jo kiya
Nahi bhul paenge hum
Tumko hein lakho naman.....

Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated every year on 26 July. This day is very important for us. Lots of army soldiers sacrifice their lives for our Motherland. It was fought between India and Pakistan during May-July, 1999. This was the first-ever Indian war fought, under constant media coverage. It was lasted for about 60 days. And finally, on 26 July India defeated Pakistan. It took place in the Kargil district of Kashmir and elsewhere along the Line Of Control.

Kargil war is also known as 'Operation Vijay War.'

The war was finally won by India and the whole nation celebrated this victory. However, not all soldiers, who fought in those most treacherous conditions, survived to be a part of this celebration.

India is celebrating 21st Kargil Vijay Divas on 26 July 2020. The Kargil Diwas is celebrated all over the country. Each year India remembers its brave hearts on this day and honor them. Prime Minister of India pays tribute to the soldiers at Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate every year. Social and cultural programs are arranged in schools and colleges. Children must know about our heroes who have done a lot for our Motherhood.

Our Flag does not fly because the air moves it, it flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it.
